What is Hive Fitness?
Hive Fitness is an iPhone-first fitness and wellness app for food, water, cardio, body progress, recovery context, daily priorities, and HEX guidance.
What is HEX?
HEX is Hive's intelligence layer. It helps explain your logs and daily priorities from confirmed app context.
Does Hive give medical advice?
No. Hive provides general fitness and wellness guidance only. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care.
Does Hive use Apple Health or motion data?
Where supported by the build, Apple Health and motion permissions are optional. Hive only uses data types you allow through iOS permission prompts, and manual logging remains available.
Where are plan details shown?
Plan details are shown in the app. Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store.
What does Pro add?
Unlock advanced HEX coaching with Pro. Pro adds AI-powered guidance and deeper insights.
Account and data deletion
To request deletion of account-backed data, email support@hiveai.team from the account email if possible. Include the subject line Delete my account and data. Full steps are on the Delete your account and data page.
Subscription cancellation
Hive Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store. To cancel, open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions, choose Hive, and cancel. You can also open the App Store, tap your profile, then Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Bug reports
- Attach a screenshot or screen recording if it does not expose private data.
- Include your device model, iOS version, app version/build, and language.
- Describe the exact screen, button, typed text, or action before the issue.
- Email the report to support@hiveai.team.
- If you are using TestFlight, you can also use Apple's beta feedback flow.
Troubleshooting
The app does not load
- Close and reopen the app.
- Check your internet connection.
- Install the latest available build.
- If the issue continues, contact support with the build number and a screenshot.
HEX is unavailable
- Check your internet connection.
- Confirm you are signed in if the feature requires an account.
- Manual food, water, body, and cardio logging remain available without AI coaching.
- If a request fails, retry in the app. Failed AI requests should not consume a message.
Camera, microphone, photos, Apple Health, motion, or notifications
- Hive asks only when a feature needs the permission.
- You can review or revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
- If Apple Health or motion is not connected, Hive should say so honestly instead of inventing data.
